Triathlon 101:
This will give you an understanding of what these sports are all about. What is required to know and do. What and why we have rules and who determines them.
How each of the multi sports, triathlon, duathlon, & aqua bike are composed and what to expect.
An understanding of the different distances
And what you will actually need to bring and what you don't need to bring.
Transition Training:
All these components will help you have a better experience with:
-Triathlon: Swim / Bike / Run
-Duathlon: Run /Bike/ Run
-Aqua bike: Swim / Bike / Done!
You can come and take notes but it is suggested you come prepared to participate in the Transition Clinic moving through all disciplines and gaining valuable experience in what you actually experience on race day.
So what will you need?
Swim- Swimsuit or Tri kit, Goggles, Swim Cap, Wetsuit (Optional)
Bike- Bicycle, Helmet, Sunglasses, Shoes
Run- Shoes, Race Belt, Hat/Visor, Socks
We aren't actually going for a swim but you can choose to get wet to get the feel of it We want you to understand how to efficiently get through this part of the race with the fewest problems.

It is suggested your have your bike /helmet and practice a tire change.
San Diego Triathlon Series Training Clinics
Clinics are scheduled for 2024. They are designed to teach and prepare individuals to perform better in Triathlons and introduce those new to the sport. Please see our Meetup for schedules as we have several per month.
